Thanks for your help, with this being my first chamelon I would have prefered a male but she is a beauty!!!
As it is my first, and with it being female, I am worried about egg laying in the future, can any of you point me in the direction for the best care sheet for females. I don't want her to become egg bound or stressed.
Another question is how to dust the fruitflies/crickets, by the time she comes to eat them I am sure the dusting has gone. (I have here in a 1ft cube exo terra atm, with a 45cm cube being prepared, then a nice tall viv I built myself.)
I dont get threads like this!! Dont the breeders tell u what sex u have i know its hard to tell but if u have paid for a male witch is more money than a female and u got a female then shouldnt u be trying to get some
Sort of refund?? And why is it breeders let chams go so young that they cant tell what sex it is?? No offence to anyone but just wanna know ?
Oh and as for dusting i had this same problem, have a separate tub for dustin with a lid on preferably the ones were it has like a flap lid so u can have like half a lid open tip whatever feeders u want to feed off in there little bit of dust and shake no wastage then
To be fair to the breeder the little critter was sold as un sexed and for £65He had an educated guess for me. More my fault I suppose for being new to it all.
Thanks for the feeder advice. I'll give it a go on the fruit flies I'm.picking up tommorow
