sex of veiled hatchling

hi there...recently I got a thumb size veiled from a local pet shop...the seller told me that it is a male...but I don't see any spurs at the hind legs...do veileds can be sex even when they are hatchings? Please advise me...Thanks!

yes they do have spirs at young age, if you look carfully you can tell. if the back feet look the same as front you have a female. spirs are male like you said

usually they were clearly visable.

when i got stuey he was like a month old and i could se the spurs easily

When my babies were hatched I used a magnifying glass to look at the back of their legs. The males looked like they have a little pimple on the back of their legs.
