Sexing Mistake?

How common would it be for an experienced breeder to make a mistake in sexing baby panthers? I trust my breeder, but even they claim they can't do it perfectly, I understand why it can be hard. I'm worried because my 4 month old male looks almost exactly like a chameleon someone else is selling as a female:

here is a link

another "female" that looks like my male

Are these really females? If so, I'll have to rename my chameleon :).

also i don't think it is to common for a experienced breeder to mix them up but it can happen, that young it can be very hard to sex them sometimes.

if it dose turn out to be female you can get a nice looking male and make pritty cham babys.:D whatever it turns out to be it looks very healthy and that is all that realy matters. talk to the breeder im sure they would work somthing out with you.

I probably couldn't even do that because he/she is half ambanja and half ambilobe... but I just looked at pictures of younger males they have available, and his coloring is the same as that one. I don't know what to think...

My male panther looked like yours when he was young. I also got a female at the same time. They're Ambilobe. Here's their pics:

It took a few more months before his colors started coming in.

Ahhh, ok. Yes, this is what I thought. Kammerflage says males are usually a gray color, which is true of my chameleon, but so are the chams in the ad. That's what threw me off. Your pictures illustrate the difference very clearly.

Funny. Both of mine are Kammer's. They've been doing it long enough to get it right.

That's what I was thinking, they definitely know what they are doing. Don't know so much about the person who is selling those other chams.

Haha, drinking while sexing comes with its risks, eh?

I imagine someone getting really smashed and then walking up to their baby chameleons and just asking them if they're boys or girls.

Ed and Liddy are sellers of top of the notch chams and you can believe that they didnt make a sexing mistake
