The vet has him on worms only at the moment(what he will eat) and I do the cal no d/3 everyday, hertivite, cal w/d3 twice a month. And about an hour of sun a day for each Cham.

I'm so sorry you've to go through is..same with your cham. The vet bills STINK! I don't know what's worst, the equine vet or reptile vet? I can say Krunch is one lucky guy!

Well I think equine bills still have it hands down! But I am lucky to have a great equine vet and a terrific Herp vet. Wish I didn't have to have either, but life has always said otherwise!
I am happy he is taking the shots so well...so far
Does your statement lead me to believe you have horses as well?

Oh yes, I'm the one with the dutch warmblood So far no vet bills...but I'm sure he needs his teeth done Vet bills are just ridiculous! Just putting my very old guinea pig to sleep cost $200, doing the right thing isn't cheap.

Krunch is a lucky guy! In his own way he's thanking you! Hopefully he'll be back to full health, you both deserve it!

That's right! You have the Dutch, im sorry for not remembering.
Mine too is do for teeth, chaching 300.00, chiro is due out, another 320.00. Shoer just came 185.00 saddle fitter next weekend, 240.00 and then there is the 750.00 a month board and 1100.00 a month for my trainer!.
That doesn't even count shows
What are we thinking! I am sure if I added it up I have spent a couple of million on horses.
no retirement for me!!!

Not to mention we have other animals besides horses, so let's just add a million other expenses. So in other words...our animals are a big money pit that we constantly stress over... but we love them
