She bit him!

My jacksons were mating earlier and afterwards she bit him! Twice! She was still very green and showed no other sighns of agression. Is that normal??

Ive had female panthers bite the male during mating and vice versa. She may have been telling him to back the f off that shes no longer receptive. Ive seen female panthers do it once and then thats that they wont let the male near them again.

How will I know if she's gravid?

If you wait a while you will see babies in the cage. Hopefully you will she her get chubby before she gives birth.
