Shedding on head.

Hi Thor, welcome to the forums and chameleon stewardship! Yes, it is normal for your Cham to shed on their face and head. It might look a little scary for us with all that skin coming off but it's perfectly natural. I know other forums members will ask -- we'd love to see pictures of your enclosure and chameleon!

He also appears wrinkly. Does this mean anything? I have never seen him drink water.

The wrinkly skin means he'll be shedding soon, in all likelihood. Many chams are difficult to observe drinking water. If you don't see your Cham drinking, just check his urates (the white "cap" that often comes with the poop). If it's white then it's reasonable to conclude your Cham is hydrated. Yellow or orange and the Cham needs more water. How are you currently getting water to your chameleon? Hand misting? Automated mist system?

Using a dripper and a spray bottle.

Also the urate was yellow even with a dripper and a spray bottle.

If the urate is yellow Thor needs more water. You need to spray more often or spray more water or both. How long does your dripper last before runing out of water?

The dripper is 79 ounces. I never see him go over to where it drips. He has 2 favorite places that he stays all day and night.

You might want to get an automatic mister. I just bought one and they are awesome but a little pricey. Mine holds a lot of water is easy to use and has really raised the humidity of my cage. I live in Wisconsin and the air is really dry in the winter and I could never get the humidity in my cage up with just a spray bottle.

My recent Veiled cham was shedding and was scratching near is eye and after i got home from school his right eye was shut he can still open it and close it just wondering if he will be alright. his eye was still shut later that night.
