Shedding question

Is it common for a chameleon to start shedding towards the end of his lights off. then finish it off whn the lights come bk on because my cham always seems to do it. Always thought it was wierd so thought i would ask and see what people say ??

I've had my cham complete a shed in under 3-4 hours. i took him out one day, and 15 min in, he had split on the side and started to shed. over the next 2 hours he shed everything but the feet.

Nothing really abnormal about that. Depends on the size and age of the cham as well. My guy can take a whole day or even 2 to completely shed.. He'll shed his legs, back and sides, then tail and head and so on and so on.. No worries

Mine started late one night too. He just went to sleep while he skin hanging off everywhere. He was really cranky the next morning though!
