Give her some extra misting and let her do her thing. Unless dead skin stays on for more than a week, there really is nothing to worry about.

Well that will sometimes happen. Sometimes they shed only a fraction of their body. My chameleon does this sometimes. You don't need to worry, but keep us updated.

How old is the chameleon? Sometimes, when they are older, they will shed in one area at a time instead of one full body shed like when they are young.
Just keep the humidity slightly higher than usual and if there is any stuck shed, try misting with warm water. Never pick at the skin because it is fairly easy to damage the new skin underneath.

You only need to peel the old skin off it is has been more than 10 days. Then it will begin to cut off circulation.But it sounds like you are good to go. Good luck

my chameleon sheds every single month sometimes back to back the old shed doesnt come off in time for the new shed to start. i mist him lots with warm water to help but it doesnt seem to do anything. i thought pullin off the stuck shed would hurt him?
as a matter of fact, he always has some kind of shed still stuck to him. he hasnt had clear skin in at least 6 months
My veiled used to be in a constant state of some sort of shed. If your humidity levels are where they should be and all the other factors are within the norm it shouldn't be a problem. I never bothered the shed. If the stuck shed is completely around the tail area or something like that I wouldn't want it to stay for long term. In that case I might want to help it along, but I never had this issue. Generally pulling off the shed isn't recommended due to the idea that it just isn't quite ready to come off so you don't want to force the issue (kind of like a scab that hasn't totally healed), or at least that's how I view it.

Yes. I agree. I definitely wouldn't touch the shed after a few days, but if it gets stuck on the tail or feet that is the only time when I would think about interfering. I haven't known any chameleons to have some sort of issue with this, they all get through the shed rather quickly.

Yup, thats the only time I'll ever remove a stuck shed.
