sheding around joints?

Hi guys, well I've had Mr. Peabody for almost 2 weeks now, and we are experiencing our first shed together!
He's going to be 5 months old this month.
It seems like the shed is happening all around his joints, neck area and legs.
Just want to make sure it's normal.
My bearded dragon sheds in spots most of the time, but he's full grown.

Here is also a pic of his enclosure. I've got it located in the kitchen for the time being, I think it helps keep the humidity up. There is a little dripper, and a container for catching. This gets emptied daily. I have my lunch pail on top of the screen, so my cats won't jump up and try to bug him.

Very cute name. He's definitely shedding. He'll be miserable for a few days to a week. He'll rub against things. Make sure there aren't any sharp edges he could injure his eyes on.

Otherwise keep humidity up and make sure he's well hydrated.

He's an adorable little guy.

Is his cage all glass with screen top? If so you may want to get him into an all screen enclosure. Chams tend to do much better in enclosures that allow very good air flow. The glass terrariums tend to not allow enough airflow and you may have problems down the road.

Otherwise nice looking setup and very cute Cham.

living in Canada, it isn't really a good idea to go all screen.
I am building him a new tall enclosure for when he grows up, and it will be 3 sides glass, and a screened front, top and bottom. The front will have a sliding thing, so I can have more open in the summer, and less in the winter.

He shed his entire body today, in one go! lol takes my beardie a few days to do that much
