Hello i try to setup new terrarium for my 4 months veiled cham. And i want to put inside terrarium live sheflera plant but my cham. Eat plants sometimes so, is it good idea to put live plants or sheflera?

I use them in some of my enclosures mostly panthers. My favorite it the pothos and hibiscus but you need a couple hibiscus to rotate plants to upkeep them proper.

Here where i live ,i can fine not so many kind plants just i can find ficus benjamin , sheflera . But they are from flower center or some like this shop. And there they use medicine for to make plant strong etc. And i afraid to put in my terrarium.

Ps. im sorry for my English. im from bulgaria.

You probably mean fertilizer as medicine. What people suggest when you introduce a new plant is to wash the plant leaves with a mild soap, making sure you rinse it properly afterwards to get any pesticide off. Make sure ALL the soap is off too. Next you can re-pot/re-soil (take out the soil and add organic soil, non-fertilizer soil) or simply add large rocks over the soil in the pot so your Chameleon cannot accidentally eat the soil.

What about fake plants ? What to use im new for chameleon and my cham. İs my first cham. Better to use fake plants ?

Fficus benjamin is a great plant i use them also sorry i forgot to mention them lol but yes the above procedure is a good way to get your plant terarium ready just be sure not to shock it to much i dont think you have to soap them but not 100% on that. They are a safe plant and so is sheffierra arbiricola i believe its calledthose are safe for sure also.there is a list of safe plants on a few sponsors sites. Draceana are nice ones too. And for fake plants i try to stay away from anything that might run die wise so go for plastic ones from the pet stores they are best i find and the real live plants healp greatly with humidity:)
