shooting his tongue

my panther is got alot of confidance recently over the last week or two hes been coming to the front of the cage and trying climb on me nearly every time i open the cage to feed or mist, but this time about 10mins ago i opened the cage to mist it down and he come walking through the plants towards me then tried shooting his tongue at my face any1 had this before or no a reason why he tried doing it, he tried a few times aswell

Maybe he thought it was dinner time and you were going to feed him? Thats a new one, never had a cham shoot at my face. My fingers yes not my face.

i feed him this morning with about 10 crickets. should i give him a snack

I was shot in the eye once; my best guess is the blinking caught his attention.

This has happened to me, I was shot on the eye brow once. My largest male always tries shooting at my hands when I reach in to do anything. Once, he shot my hand and his tongue stuck to me. I kept my hand still and he slowly moved towards my hand with his tongue still attached to me and bit down on my palm and let go. I was very strange.

lol, this happened to me before too. My cham was just chillin on my shoulder then out of nowhere his tongue was in my eye. I think he liked my eyelashes... they must have looked yummy.

that is crazy idea of a cham attacking our eyelashs but makes sense my cham can see the antenna of a roach moving
