we have a 6 month old male veiled. he weighs 18 grams. is this ok, or not? we had bought a year+ old female veiled from the pet store. she was full grown. we're not positive she was only a year, but i want to know if he's growing right or if i need to be concerned.

my 5 1/2 month old veiled weighs 89 grams.....

your weight can't be correct.... what are you using to weigh him????

well we bought one of bertha and botero's babies that hatched in february.... at least that's what we ordered. from chameleonsnorthwest.com

Your veiled sounds small but Lisa's at 78 is way big.

laurie ,,, is your dyslexia kicking in???? that's 89 grams!!!! i am soo proud of him... he's eating again and going to be ginormous!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

oops, sorry. i got off track.... :)

yea. we use it to weigh our beardies too and it seems pretty accurate for them

Hmmm-how much are your beardies weighing?

Any more pics? I hatched Bertha and her clutch, like Jann's, contained all large babies.

I think your scale is not weighing right.

Hmmmm...hard to tell. Do you have more pictures of Gilligan? I have one of Gilligan's cousins sired by Bertha's brother Lombardi and he is also on the small size for 6 months-but I thought that your guy was born later than Feb-or at best they were born late Feb. He should be pounding crickets at his age. Is he otherwise healthy? I would not be pumping too much humidity into the cage, and maybe get some live plants that will help keep the humidity up.

yea, he's really not interested in eating crickets too much. we have a repti-fogger and a dripper for water. we have a ficus in his cage too. is it possible his cage is too big for him? its a large screen cage, about 18" x 18" x 36"

he used to eat alot when we first got him, but has slowed down alot in the last month or so
