Should I move the cage?

I got my little guy on Tuesday. He has been very active and I have seen him eat probably a dozen crickets. However I have not seen him drink. I mist the cage 4 times a day. Lights on at 8am, first misting at 9am for 8 mins. Next at 1230, 430 and 630 each for 4 mins.

I just installed a dripper tonight. Let that run from 5pm till the lights went off but he didnt go anywhere near it. Currently my cage is in my living room where we watch TV and hang out most of the time. Its pretty dark in the corner he is in at night so I dont think the tv is bothering him. I keep reading that they are shy drinkers and wont do it if someone is in the room. As I am in the room pretty much all day, should I move the cage into another room to give him some privacy or will he eventually get used to me and just do his thing? I have only seen him poop twice. The first day it was a bit yellow and the second one looked more white but it was dry when I found it so not 100% sure.

Just wondering if I am being a paranoid new owner or if this is something I should be concerned about.

thanks!

Well I say just monitor the poop. You said it's looking better (whiter), I'm sure he's drinking when your not looking or something. I used to never see my veiled drink when he was a baby. However, if you notice the his poop is getting a yellow or orange ting, then maybe consider moving the cage. But for now, I wouldn't worry (trust me I know it's easier said than done about the worrying part lol)

My cage is in my living room as well and I have the exact lighting schedule as you. As far as misting, I fight humidity because of winter heating, so I might mist 5-6 times a day with spray bottle...bout a min or 2 each. I also have a fogger and a dripper. Mine has his sleepy spot, very back of an umbrella tree. Even if the tv is on it is still dark back there.

I believe you will be fine. I am still a paranoid owner and i have had my chameleon for months. Monitor your chameleon and worry when needed. It's cool, trust me you will learn.

I've had my little guy since the end of January and yesterday was the first time I had ever seen him drink!
If the poops look good, than you know he's probably doing just fine.
