Is it ok to put my adult male in the shower on a plant my shower head has a mist setting so I was wondering if it ok so please let me know what you think

As long as it isnt dreching him with water and it is a warm mist, it is a good hyrdration technique. Be sure to be with him at all times and try to keep a small section dry for him to go to, if he feels too wet. :)

I've been reading and some say you can so I wanted to ask on here because there is a lot of experience on here some sites online say it's ok once every week or two

I did it he seem to like it he sat there for 15-20 seconds then moved away but while he was in there he was nice yellows and light greens and turquoise do you think I should do that once a week for a good hydration please let me know what you think
Thanks everyone

He's been kinda dark colors in his enclosure but from what I've been reading on here that kinda normal when it becomes winter and when they're basking is that correct I just want the best for my Cham scout they're amazing animals

Shower technique is a great alternative for hydration. Also helps them clean their eyes/turrets of dust and dirt/irritants. I leave mine in the shower for about 15-30 mins. You want to let them settle in and have plenty of time to drink their fill and really clean out those eyes. Just make sure the water is lukewarm to the touch and not hot. Also you can direct the spray to bounce off the wall of the shower or tub but Ive never had an issue because my shower has a fine mist setting. I just set the plant up so that he/she can go in or out off the spray when they are done.

This was the first shower for scout so I didn't leave him in to long but I will each time I do it so he can get use to it
