showering?

I've heared alot about showing your cham i was just wondering if this is somthing i should be doing i have a yemen cham and hes about 4 months old and since i've had him he's shed about 3 times

although i have seen showering as a method for hydration in books most of the advice i have seen has been for dehydrated chams. i have only owned jacksons and they have a higher humidity need so i showered my male when he appeared dehydrated. hopefully those with more experience will reply
