shrek getting fired up

he will gape but has only bitten once and it didnt hurt at all more like a nibble. he is about 9 months now we will have some of his offspring hopefully around march next year. my female (fiona ) laid 24 eggs.

he can be quite the ogre untill he gets out of his cage and he does not like my kids one bit he is fine between me and my wife but if the kids even get near him he fires up instantly

i should have for some reason he just doesnt like either of my kids.
