My veiled cham isn't eating and I haven't seen any dropings lately. The last one was white on one side and brown on the other end. The temp is around 80 and the humidity is between 40 and 50. The cage was recently moved to incease temp and humidity. It is a female and I am unsure of the age. I have had her for around 2 weeks.

what feeders are you feeding they like it when they are not fed the same thing all the time. change it up every now and then with worms, supers, silkworms, hornworms, roachs, ect..but she looks good eyes look good from what i see but i m new at this to there are people with far more time with these animals but there not sucked in nice shape. nice body, so its some thing but you just got to toy with diferent ideas to see what she likes and dont like. for instance i got a female panther as a baby igot her at 4 months old she would eat out of a cup i cup feed all my chameleons but right when she came into season she would not eat out of a cup for any reason that i know of i put different worms and dibias she wouldnt eat them as soon as i put worm on the screen or on a branch she was all over it like she rather hunt for them who knows i just adjusted to her way of eating i guess. she still will not eat out of cups. my other chameleons do so its cool with me.well i hope i help you in any way.

Your Chameleon - veiled, female, unsure of age. 2 weeks in my care.
Handling - I have only handled her a couple of times.
Feeding - I feed her crickets, meal worms, carrots, apples. What amount? I feed around 8 crickets a day and offer some small carrot pieces. I do this around 5 pm. I give the crickets fruits and grains to feed on.
Supplements -exoterra calcium monday, wednesday, friday. exoterra multi vitamin even sundays. exoterra calcium plus d3 on odd sundays
Watering -I water 2 to 3 times a day. Enough to cover everything with water, Not for all to long. I do see her drink from time to time

Current Problem - opening and closing mouth, not eating (started today), no droppings for a couple days. Looks pail. It would also apear that my little meter in the cage is not working. Those were not the temps it was showing. I used the one that I use for dart frogs and it was different.

You are cooking her. The basking temps should be no more than 83 or 84. You also need to replace those lights. Mealworms are not that great of a feeder for chams they need a large variety of gut loaded feeders such as roaches, silkworms, hornworms, super worms and flies. What are you gut loading with? She will also need a larger cage very soon. Please read my blog to see how you should be keeping her.

I have to say those are not my normal temps. My basement does not usually get that warm. I'm looking into getting a different thermometer. something that works. I will check out that page.
