Sick Chameleon Eyes Closed Not Eating X3 days

I have never had a female before; when should I put a egg laying place in her cage? She is very slim right not and no way are there any eggs in there. I ordered the calcium plus a bunch of other goodies online and it should be here soon. She was asleep again this afternoon, but cruised around for a while after a heavy misting. I didn't see her eat today and she hasn't any new poop, but her yesterday poo looks better. Of course she is asleep now, but she looks dehydrated and I didn't notice her drinking today :( Can I give her pedialyte to give her a boost so maybe she will eat? She needs to eat some damn food! Oh, and I do have an outdoor cage for her, or I will just take her outside on my hand. She loves it! With the time change I can only do it on weekends now. *Sigh* This is very nerve racking! Thank you all again for your help.

Glad you placed an order.
Females can lay eggs as early as 6 months old, so i would find jannb's blog on egg laying and get that together.
Sometimes females can look skinny, but have eggs, and if they become egg bound they can die.
Sometimes they can go a day or two without eating, dont worry about it yet.
you also may not notice them drinking everytime. just give her a dripper and let her be.
if shes dehydrated, i would try a daily shower. do you know how to do this? if not, search for shower, and you can find it.
Outside time is great, can def help with her issues.

Holy crap where am I gonna put a garbage can full of dirt in my tiny place?! I can hear the boyfriend now...ugh lol I like the shower idea and will do it tomorrow when I get home from work. She hates it if I spray her directly when misting, so I am sure this will take a while to get used to. We will see if she can tolerate a few minutes her urates are still a little orange. I misted her a bunch today, but she still slept an inordinant amount. One of her eyes is back to normal almost, the other is still a little off but seems to bother her less. I wonder if I get up early and shower her in the morning if that would be better? She is not an early riser, but I could rouse her...I think I may just do that. Give her a boost early in the day. Well, since I'm getting up early, I'm going to bed early! Thank you!

LOL on the garbage can comment. I have a veiled. I used the pot my four foot ficus tree came in after it died :( She used it and I was thrilled :).

By the time your baby is ready for that laying bin- she will have outgrown that small cage I believe. :p- A Panther owner will have to confirm that though since I don't know how fast they grow.

She's still pretty small maybe four inches at the most; but HUGE compared to when I forst got her. I didn't do the shower this morning, I gave her half an hour to wake up but she wasn't having the early morning rising today. Ho hum; the bathroom was FREEZING anyway. She's getting a shower this afternoon and I don't care if she sleeps through it! Heck, if she did that would be a lot better than the other side of the scale! I have heard some super stories of Chams first showers.

Thank you to all who offered help, but despite all the efforts Dave succommed to an "undefinable, unitentified disease" late saturday night. I buried her today. Ramsey is flourishing, but as much of a blessing as that is, I can't fathom why Dave didn't. They got the same exact care (even the wrong parts). Heart broken and wanting; I had to tell someone, somewhere. Thank you all again for your help. She was so sweet; let me take her out sunning, hold and pet her...when my heart mends I will want to try again.
