Sick young female veiled chameleon

I saw my chameleon wiz being sick this morning twice. It was just crushed worms and locusts she brought up. I've caught her eating dirt from her plant which I think is more than likely the cause as I can't think of anything else that would've caused it but she hasn't eat anything all day or even went near food she's just sat in her usual corner. I only got her on Thursday and she's been eating well apart from today which is why I'm worried, any advice or help here would be really appreciated!

I've just caught her eating dirt from her plant again! Managed to get the first bit out of her mouth but she managed to get away with another mouthful. There are locusts and mealworms in her enclosure as well as some lettuce but she doesn't seem interested in any of that, help needed!!!

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your new veiled. Little girls are so cute and so sweet! How old is she? I highly recommend covering the dirt in her plant. Veiled eat everything. I use a piece of screen on top piled high with large river rocks. If you use small rocks they can eat the rock too and get into big trouble. I'm attaching a few links for you below about general care, female care, egg laying and the laying bin. Females do lay eggs without a male even being around and if they are not provided with a proper lay bin they can become egg bound and die.

Thanks very much for getting back to me! Yeah she's been great so far, friendly and entertaining! Apart from vomiting earlier we've not had a problem. I'll cover up the dirt in her plant and hopefully that'll be the end of it. I did my homework on females and their eggs and I'll have a good read through your links. Thanks again hopefully she starts eating (her actual food) again soon

Still having problems getting her to eat, she's showing no interest in locusts or mealworms at all. She hasn't eat the past 2 days. I tried taking her out her enclosure and putting her in a tub with just a worm and she didn't even look at it twice
