side stripe tongue hanging out! help!!!

ChamLover and Helen Pottage, please accept my condolences. I know you did the best you could with the animals you were given. I think that you started out with problems and at least asked for help and tried to get them healthy again.

thanx once again, i hope know one ever has to go thru any of the things i went thru with the little guys, it was heart breaking to watch and frustrating to think there was nothing i could do but make them as comfortable as possible.

thanx for all of your support once again,

our condolences to debbi, sorry to hear your bad news. :(

So sorry for both your losses.

Debbie, I know though it hurts you will carry on in your typical fine professional fashion.

"Helen" I hope this doesn't put you off. Despite being a beginner, when you knew something was going wrong you really tried your best to save the little guys. You will make a great cham-mom. Addict yourself to this forum, read as much as you can, then get back in the saddle! (Choose a forgiving breed. After research you will know!)

If you can, buy from a reputable breeder instead of someone who just wants to move PRODUCT. Only buy your new baby AFTER fully setting up it's home (something to do with that £50)

Good luck, carry on, you did the best you could.

it has put me off slightly which i hope i can overcome and as you say "get back in the saddle"
i will continue to do my research before i purchase another cham. i love reptiles and chams aswell as beardies are my favourites! so hopefully i can get it rite (as well as the correct info) the next time, especially now i have found this forum!

and yes i do intend on having another eventually!

good luck with everything and i will probably speak to you all again,

thanx so much.

Helen.

May I offer a suggestion? When the time comes to purchase another dear little thing, look here to find a healthy cham. These breaders will guarantee the health of their chameleons and help with problems. I know a couple personally and can say they pride themselves in delivering healthy chams.
