signs of stress?

im sure its nothing to be alarmed about, but since google kind of generalizes everything and makes research time consuming i figured i would ask you wonderful people here.

i have a 6 month panther male. he generally is a darker set of colors for the most part and i know that he will flare up when agitated, but what does it mean when i leave him alone and he is very colorful. also, i was told that yellow is a "stress" color, so if he is bright and not pushing yellows out does that mean he is happy? he also puffs up and does a little squirmy dance, which seems to be some type of dominance maneuver but again im not sure. tips would be appreciated. i just wanna make sure im not causing stress for him that i am not aware of.

I would say if he is stressed he would be quite dark, hiding or hissing. Don't know about yellow colour though. Mine is predominatly reds and greens, when showing these colours I would say he is content, warm and well fed.:)

Stress is spots and lines, not bright colors (those are normal happy ones).

The puff up wiggle dance is bad, he is saying go away, or dont eat me.

ok, dont think he is stressed then lol. he doesnt hiss and the yellows are just small patches, he doesnt push more yellow then reds or greens. he eats well and i have seen him lick the branches so im sure hes getting water as well. he usually sits on his perch hanging out under his light. thank you for your help.
