silkworm question ;-)

Hey so i ordered 50 small silk worms about a week ago...maybe a little longer, anyways. They are growing fast. How many can i feed my chams a day? Ive been feeding just one a day to both my chams but can i feed 2/3 a day?

I usually give them 5 or 6 sometimes more - and go lighter on the crickets- and depending on the chameleon - and my cricket supply - I will give them more if I'm low on crickets and it's a good day clean the cricket bin and resupply- I like silks because all but my flapneck will eat them out of my hand.
I feed mine in the morning before I go to work so I just keep giving them to them by hand until they decide they hate me- I don't like to give them too many days of just silk worms in the morning in a row as they turn their heads up at crickets -

ahh, very cool. so I can feed them more then just a few. but I've heard of them getting to be wormaholics as well. I just want to make sure I can give a few more a day or every other day before my silks start cocooning.

Some chams will gorge and then regurgitate, so be sure to pace your feeding of them lol.

Montium is right- I like to either place them far apart so they have to take a walk to get them or do the old one for you and then one for you bit because they will suck them down quite quickly given the chance.
