i want to start feeding my male veiled silkworms. how many should i order and how many should i feed him each day? should i still give him crickets? he is 6-7 months old.

I would start with a couple 100. Buy like maybe 1.5-2"?

Most people start with a silkpod then work from there. Once you get the amount of worms he will eat in a week or two you can order the correct amount with out having waste. You can feed crickets as well if you want but don't worry about the silkworms their a good staple like crickets.

On the 2 month old veiled, you can use silkworms but you will need to get very small worms becuase the worms grow so fast. If you order from us make sure you make a note about the size so you get what you need for your guy/gal.
