Sir Lancelot 2.0

As a few of you may know, we recently lost or first chameleon Sir Lancelot. He was a very young, about 3 weeks old. He didn't eat, didn't open his eyes. It was a terrible debacle.

We made the move to pick up another young knight who will share the same name. He is about 3 months old. And has been doing well. He's moving around, eating, drinking, defecating, and hunting. The setup he is calling home is the same that his predecessor had. Thoroughly cleaned of course. I just wanted to show him off to the forum.

Oh, he's CUTE! Congrats and good luck. He looks to be in much better shape than the last little one. Very alert and lively. Glad to see you're giving it another try.

O he is. He's got a little attitude, but that's ok. He's gone through over 60 small crickets in less than 5 days. And I'm stoked for a long happy life together

Little update: Added a Schefflera to the enclosure. He is still eating well. Eating about a dozen small/medium crickets each day. Has frequent solid defecation. I've heard that weighing your chameleon is a good idea. I'm looking into purchasing a scale to monitor his weight. How often should i weigh him? What kind of periodic increase should i be looking for?
