Rhaegar is a 1 year old Ambilobe. Just recently he has started having dry scaly skin in his back leg. Please let me know your opinion of what is causing this and how to treat it. Thanks in advance.

It’s his left back leg that seems to be affected.

13 month male Ambilobe, I’ve had for 11 months
He is handled 4-5 times a week
Fed crickets and super worms, dusted with calcium, as well as horn worms on occasion
He lives in a screen reptibreeze cage with a 23w uvb and a 60w heat bulb
We use a monsoon water mister, as well as occasional misting from a bottle

Hi, I´m dealing also with a skin problem of one of my trioceros ellioti. The vet didn´t want to stress the animal and recommended to clean the spot with "Betaisodona", a desinfection liquid for the human mouth, covers bacteria, virus, fungus etc. Sometimes these water misters create fungus infections. But I have no idea, and your problem seems to be bigger then mine - isn´t there any vet around?
