Skin worms! WARNING GRAPHIC

I got to keep the skin worms in a preservative after they removed them. These came from a wild caught chameleon.

Lol you all need coffee. And they probably didn't get them all. Just the large ones that were viable.
 
Wow! Those things are huge! Did they come from juveniles or adults? What species? How did you know that something was there? Could you see them? A picture would have been neat to see.
 
These came from a juvenile wild caught panther. You could see the worms under the skin. If you zoom in the picture you can see them.

I've seen worms like that quite often in WCs. Quite a few would come in with them. They are filarial worms usually spread to the chameleon by an insect "bite".
