skittles bein a beast

you need to completely change your setup. No glass cages, you need a screen one. no bedding, It could accidentally get ingested and cause impaction, and you need a linear UVB fixture, compacts are known to make chams go blind. Id hate for something bad to happen to an awesome little cham!

Yea especially in Florida. Our humidity is so high there is absolutely no need for all glass enclosure. Switch it up to screen. and add a nice pothos or another safe plant to give him some more cover. Check out some of the enclosures here to get a good idea of what you need.

i plan on using this cage during the winter months since it does retain humidity better, but i will definitely get on changing the lights, what would you suggest for lighting?

and he doesnt need night time lighting, correct? i mean i do now but ive heard mixed reviews on that subject.. also is a household bulb okay for basking?

not sure.. ill check tho.. and i hate to be a bother but one more thing... is the lll reptile x large 24x24x48 a suitable cage for a full grown cham. or should i just build a larger one

its a panther right? Im pretty sure it is fine for a male veiled and male panther. You should be fine with an 24x24x48:) and your not a bother its what this forum is about:)

alright, well what kind of light fixture should i get then ... :^) and yes.. hes a blue bar ambilobe panther
