Can I sleep in the same room as my baby veiled? Im completely visible for her and I may stay up with the computer some late nights, so a small amount of light will be visible in the room. But will she be able to sleep though?

At days she is not disturbed much more than when I need something in my room.

Thanks.

Chams do better with a daily routine. If you are burning lights late at night or changing your schedule a lot from day to day, it may disturb her or wake her up. This is pretty easily dealt with. You can cover her cage with a dark cloth.

On the side where she is able to see me i guess? :)

Yep, or to create more dark in the cage if the light level is high. She'll eventually choose her favorite place to settle for the night so you can cover the cage based on where that is.

When i am on call on a night ( mostly end up reading this forum at stupid hours 5:30am atm) i just put 2 beach towels on the viv removing them just before 7 when the heater etc will kick in, first time I did not do this could feel Karmen glaring at me :)

Haha I know that feeling. Mine will get really light green at night and can sometimes see something really green sitting and looking at me! haha so cute.

I sleep in the same room as my cham's cage, call me a protective parent :p

But I do not turn the lights on at night, which can be a hassle. I have covered the sides before if I have work to do and need the lights, though I worry that I will forget to remove the towels and the automatic timer will turn the heat lights on - don't want to think about it.

I have a 20gal fish tank in my room as well, and the light is a little dim for a fish light. It's across the room. In the dark of the night, with the fish tank light on, it's just light enough by my bed for me to see and get in, but dark enough by the chameleon cage that it does not disturb his slumber. Perhaps try a small nightlight to make it a little easier on you if your situation is like mine!

Szpond: if you use Windows mac osx or linux you can set an alarm at say 10 minutes prior to the heating coming on to remind you :) or if you are really Boring and play a major online MMORPG the game has an alarm in it comes in handy.
progrmor: well it was soo damn cute when i saw her, she was pulling the leaf in front of out of the way head sticking out of the plant nigh on illuminous green could almost hear her saying "put that bloody light out"

I have both of my huge Oustie brothers in my room with no problems. I go to sleep at 11 and there lights go out at 720. My t.v. faces away from there cage so they dont see the light and if they do there used to anything going on. I wake up at 630 and there lights come on at 645. I spray, feed, get them out if im not 2 tired. :D Everything seems ok. Im away at school and wrestling practice til 5 so its the lowest traffic room in my house.

Both of my cham cages are in my bedroom, my vieled, whom I is over 2 years old and which I purchased when he was about 3 months old is right next to my bed and never seems to have any problems sleeping at night with my tv and pc on at any hour. you should be fine so long as your not physically holding it or something like that.

I have my cham enclosure in my bedroom on a bureau next to my TV with no ill effects. He goes to sleep the same time every night and sleeps through the night no problems.
