Hello Everyone!!!!.
I am new to this site!!!, I was wondering if anyone can help me out with some information please.
I have a wonderful 2yr old Yemen Chameleon I have noticed over the last three to four days in the morning he is sleeping on the floor where the heat strip is.
He has never done this before I know they come down from time to time but surely this is not normal behaviour???.
If anyone can help I would be most grateful.
Thanks.

Can you fill this out and can you post some pictures of him and his enclosure ?? A chameleon hardly ever goes to the bottom of the cage , so a heat strip wouldn't be needed . So some information about your enclosure can help determine the source of the problem

Welcome to the forum!
Sorry your cham is having a problem.

Copying and pasting the questions that ChiefRedman posted, then adding all of your answers will enable others to give you sound advice, rather than merely guessing at possible causes.

Sometimes something is a bit off in a cham's environment or care and relatively small changes can make a great difference.
