Small Bumps His Tail

Hello,
My chameleon has developed a lot of small, hard bumps down the length of his tail. I have tried to research what it might be with no luck. They don't seem to bother him and he is otherwise healthy. I would take him to a vet, but we are out in the sticks and no one has knowledge on chameleons out here.

try changing your uvb bulb. my guy got them on his side. took awhile after changing the bulb for them to go away
