Small Clutch

Has anyone ever experienced small clutches with panthers? First time I have ever gotten a clutch of 7 eggs total  and four were infertile. These were laid 4 months ago.

Am I alone on this one?

Yes, my girl lays really small clutches. I have one of 11 and one of 9, both incubating. So far so good, I haven't had any mold and it's been months.

I think it's a good thing unless you're looking to breed and make money on the offspring, but it means that it's less of a strain on your girl. Much easier for her than laying maybe 40 eggs!

I absolutely agree on it being better for her but thought I might have done something different this time around to cause this or maybe the sires sperm is not good enough :p

Can I ask how much are your girls eating?

I vary their intake depending on "normal/healthy" weight, this particular female gets a variation of two insects every other day(medium-large dubia, medium silk or hornworm, large mealworn or super, medium cricket)
