What's the temperature of his basking spot and how close to the light bulb can he get?

It was reading 88 yesterday. Branch wise about 6-8 inches but he can climb on the cage and get 2-3 inches away.

I went and bought a 50w bulb to see how much it cools it down.

Does that spot on him look like a burn?

No one has had a burn before?

It slowly seems like it is getting smaller. I have been keeping an eye on him!
