Small scratch on my panther chameleon

My panther chameleon got a small cut on its tail from the screen cage I'm guessing, I just want to know if he will be okay and if there will be any discoloration on him

If it is indeed a cut(you cannot tell from the pics), he should be ok. I would put some polysporin on it to help it heal.

It is not So much as a cut as it is a scrape. There is a small piece of skin that is hanging off his tail a little. Here is another picture

its small enough that it should heal up very well, you should not worry.

Do you think there will be discoloration on his tail?

hard to say but it really dosent matter if there is because you would not be able to prevent it. i doubt there would be discoloration anyways and it wont harm your cham if there is.

but polysporin might help it heal like carol said so since your worried about discoloration i would apply the polysporin.
