Smello people, new here

Handikapped

New Member
Hey there peoples. I grew up with many many many critters. Bred sugar gliders when I was 11, had a few hundred gallons of tanks. I recently purchased my first chameleon, a baby blue bar ambilobe that I got from the portland reptile expo from a local breeder. He was hatched july 1 and is a feisty lil guy. He constantly is on the prowl or sleepn in his plant. He's munchin down some 2 week crickets. I currently raise exotic corals for a living as well as being involved with my friends university that opens in october. Look forward to learnin new tips and info on how to give this lil guy a happy life.

I used to have about 1000 gallons of fish tanks back home before hurricane katrina destroyed my house while I was inside. Moved out to oregon and love it!

When I get a new camera ill take pix of him. I am a knowledgable hydroponic guru and an experienced salt and freshwater fish breeder / coral aquaculturist. Feel free to pick my brain if u like fish cause ill b pickin at yalls about chameleons.

Remember happiness is like peeing your pants, everybody can see it but only u can feel the warmth

Welcome! I think it's safe to assume that many chameleon keepers are reef keepers as well, including myself. What type of corals do you work with? I am enjoying the ease of soft corals now, but have raised and cultured most others as well.

Hi glad to have you on board. This is an addictive hobby. somehow the creatures crawl under your skin and into your heart. The same heart that they will sometimes break, but still life without a chameleon just would not be living. Enjoy your new baby. Pictures are required or we all gang up on you.lol:D
