Snails just came in

Anyone that's bred snails before just checking I'm doing this right. I put them in a container with 3 inches of organic soil, then I mist them a couple times a day?
Thanks!

Make sure you have good cross ventilation. If not, the moisture will grow mold which I can't imagine would be good for the snails.

After I got mine it didn't take very long before they laid eggs! Lots of food & calcium!

Yep. Lots of fresh food ( Dark green leafy veggies, carrots, cucumber and a cuttlebone) and just make sure the soil doesn't get too dry. Keep it damp, but not soggy.

I keep my snails in a 10 gallon tank, with a screen top. Within a few weeks they'll lay eggs. I carefully scoop the eggs out and place them in a deli cup full of soil with a lid with holes. Keep the soil damp and store it in a warm place ( around 75 degrees) - in about 3 weeks snails will hatch.

Awesome, thanks!

We're do you guys purchase the snails from?
On eBay you search live garden snails and a ways down there's some from a guy in Greece. Like 8$ for 10 of them, as opposed to snailsinthemail.com where you need a permit and they're 50$ for 10.
