So Basically....

I have read extensively on the Veiled chameleon care and just a few questions. I brought home a juvenile male 4 days ago and so far he seems okay. I feed him about 4-6 calcium dusted crickets a day and mist his cage at least 3x per day, even misting his face until he opens his mouth. Any times he seems annoyed by it I don't push it. There is a reptile vet that visits my local pet store so I will take him for a check-up in a few weeks. Should I be feeding him more? What about water? Is he getting enough with 3 good mistings a day?

Worried Mommy:(

Feeding as much as he can eat in the mornings was advice i got and it worked great. 6 doesn't seem like enough, my guy was crushing 2 dozen crickets and some roaches a day.

Idk about veileds, but for my panther i need to mist him at least 3x a day for 5-10 minutes each time.

Okay I will give him more crickets tomorrow and thinking about getting him a worm or 2 to tame him. He has spurs behind his feet so yes he is a male. I think he is abou
