I've always considered & treated those recommended dimensions as nominal—the width more than makes up for the 2" of depth.

It's definitely a cool idea. I know some beardie keepers that have done JP themed enclosures.
Why not for chams & other reptiles?

Forgot to mention... some do Godzilla themes as well. I used to take pictures of my green anole like that—"stomping" Matchbox cars (before Hot Wheels came out), plastic army men, and Kenner building sets.
