Like the title says. What is it that you do for a living? Just curious what all of these chameleon owners do for the most part.

I will start it off.

I am an Account Manager for a IT Managed Services Provider. I make sure the customer is happy and provide them with CTO/CIO advice and sales of equipment, software, and services to put it all together into projects for the engineers to implement and perform the technical work. Before this I was in the trenches performing all this kind of work for the past 19.5 years now.

Currently I am the Front Desk Trainer for the Ritz Carlton here in Naples. Prior to that I spent 13 1/2 years as a professional chef, and was classically trained at the Culinary Institute of America.

I went to Le Cordon Bleu for my training. I did it as a way to get a degree and also learn more about cooking. On the side I like to do personal cheffing for dinner parties of 14 or less people.

I'm a mechanic unfortunately :)

There is nothing wrong with being a mechanic! You skills are definitely a necessity in this day and age. I have done some work on cars, but I am far from a mechanic.

The work that I did on cars was restoring a 69 mustang coupe and also modifying my 04 Cobra that I had for 6 years.

My dad made a very good living as a mechanic. He recently retired after 35 years with Firestone. Although, he restores and re-sells classic cars as a hobby, so he will never be truly retired;)

Very nice! My fiance is a 3rd grade teacher. I really feel for you teachers and everything you have to go through.

Eh, all careers have their difficulties. I love my job, especially in June, July, and August;)

I am a staff nurse currently working in a care home for the frail and elderly. I am also a foster carer to teenagers:D:D. And am a volunteer for Childline.

Thank God for mechanics! We couldn't keep going without you!

I have been working as a graduate teaching assistant in a Film & Media Studies program (fun! I get paid to watch movies!) while trying to work on my doctorate in Health and Intercultural Communication; as it isn't really getting done, I'm thinking of quitting and getting a full-time job at the local university. I'd rather be doing things with herps anyway . . .

I've also taught English grammar as a English as a Second Language instructor.

It's all been fun!

Sandy
