Some gutloading questions

So as far as gutloading goes I think I have a pretty good idea of what to use, but not so much how to prepare it. Is it like a salad? I could see it being blended into a goo? Can someone share their gutloading prep and maybe a picture of the final result? Thanks a bunch!

What I like to do is peel and orange and use orange slices and change them out every other day or so to prevent mold. It gives them nutrients and water whatever you are feeding. But a lot of people blend up there ingredients and freeze them when they make a whole bunch in ice cube trays to prevent it from going bad. I only really use oranges, carrots, mangos, and occasionally potatoes. Potatoes aren't very good because they seem to mould faster than anything.

I like to change what i do up every now and again, and since the food usually spoils before i use it all, i just buy something different the next time. Ive been doing a tiny amount of oats just to keep something in there that stays good for a long period of time, just in case the other things dry out, then just chop up a baby carrot (you could chop extra and store, but it doesnt take very long.) and tare up some leafy greens (i'll switch between kale and collard greens usually, wash them first) and toss that in. ill also take a slice of orange and put it in a shallow dish for easy cleanup. i put in new stuff every day about an hour before i feed so the crickets are nice and full. every day the bottom of the keeper gets: new orange slice, new greens (kale or collard), new carrots, and occasionally oats if they're gone. i like to keep food in there at all times, but not to put to much in because then it molds in there

Edit: id take a picture for you, but my keeper looks like shit right now... gonna get more crickets tomorrow, and ill post a clean pic

just toss one or two items into the bug bin. The next day remove whatever didnt get eaten and put two different good gutload items in.

some people do take multiple items and blend together. I do this with my dry mix, but prefer the fresh approach to the primary gutload vegetables and fruits.

Thanks for the advice guys. So far I've got an orange slice in there, and some grated apple and carrot and romaine. I have some squash and some nuts and things and I'm probably going to try and make a goo mixture
