Folks that is how it is done! Great specimens and pictures Jurgen!
Thank you motherlode chameleon, for the moment two of my best chameleonfriends are working with namaquensis.
Whe got 5.5 for the moment.
2 clutches are incubating(23eggs),keeping aint very difficult if you keep them under the right conditions(see the pictures of the terrariums.)
They are very agressive against other chameleons just for mating you put them together.
Only babys until 6 to 8 monthd climbing in small trees after that they stay mostly running on the floor.
Like you see they need relative large amount of space the are extremly active.
Incubating eggs is extremly difficult we try for years for the best incubationmethode but hatching rate is very low(last year from 43 eggs just 5 babys, most ofthem lad(late embrionic dead) or dead in egg.
Its not only day and night temperatures wo are in great differance also humidity is very tricky to wet they mold in a few days to dry they collaps...
Here some pictures of digging female..
Good luck breeding the specimens you have and hatching your clutches. If you improve you hatching percentages I would not mind working with this species one day.
If you are planning to do a vacation to Belgium ,just give me a sign and you can visite me and take a look to the chameleons
Jurgen is not only a really good chameleonbreeder, but also the kindest person in this hobby.
