Some pics of my pygmy

Ive had the little guy for a little over two weeks now and he has completely settled in. He explores his viv, eats fine, and lately he lets me hand feed him! I still need a name though, my dad suggested Nelson in honor of Nelson Mandela. Not entirely sure though so let me know what you think. Here he is!

Can't say yet on whether they're a challenge or not cause I've only had them a few days, but they seem easy. Both are eating well and active. I redid the enclosure a bit as well, but it will never look as nice as yours :(

Nice looking pygmy--
Looks like a female to me.. Tail looks to small but might be the position of the pic.(great seeing it eat)
Thanks for sharing.
Will you be starting a colony?

Until I can afford to double everything I would like getting another to breed. The breeder on the forums said male but his tail does get quite a bit big, I might post a sexing thread just to be sure. Thank you guys though for the kind words!:)

Not thinking that at all.. Heck I have been wrong so many times over the years. Just passing on pics to compare.

I use to raise them a few years backed and from birth was able to tell the difference from male and female due to tail and ridges on back.

Either way you have an awesome pygmy.

If the breeder said it was male, then it is probably male. Enjoy!!!:)
