Ok I've been thinking about breeding my Nosy be for a while now. He is nearing 8 months now. I am gonna breed him at a year old, is this a good age. I'm going to buy a true blue nosy be female and wait a couple months after i get her to breed her so i can get to know her and she can get to know me a little. I've been reading on how to care for a female so she wont die from being egg bound. How popular do you guys think true blue nosy be are? Also I've accepted the fact that it costs lots and lots of money to breed and i may not sell all babies if i do decide to breed. What I really want to know is how can I plan ahead so that it will save me money to care for the babies.

Start raising your own feeders. My babies were eating 4,000 crickets a week plus flies and baby dubia.
