It is a prolapse of an internal organ. May be rectum or reproductive tissue. You need to keep it moist with Ky jelly or something similar and get her to a reptile vet ASAP. This is a life threatening problem if you wait so get her in quickly.
Please listen to Ferrit and get her to vet. On another note, I would change out those small white rocks you have in that pot. they are too small and can be injested.
i have read that if you do not have any ky a little sugar in some warm water will help the swelling go down and keep in moist. i have never delt with this just repeting what ive read.

Wow. That looks nasty. For those who know more about this, how common is it in Chameleons? Is it more common in male/female, or yemen/panther, or just Chameleons in general?
i took her to the vets and it is a prolapse they are opperating on her now 50/50 chance of her living. and while they are there they are going to spade her so she cant lay eggs because there is a good chance of it happening again. so fingers crossed that she makes it
Just thought that I would mention, overfeeding constantly can lead to prolapses, MBD and constipation so watch that you don't overfeed her once she is back to normal. I'm sure other things can contribute to it too.
