i thought the same from what i’ve seen but it isn’t the case somehow.I would think they'd be more likely to be constipated with MBD. MBD affects their muscles too.
i am having to force feed her cricketsWhat was she eating?
i’m not forcing her to drink, no. but usually she hisses when i put my hand in so when she does i use the tweezers to stick a cricket inIt would be better not to force her. I would use a dripper and when she starts opening and shutting her mouth to drink stick a cricket in head first so she bites download on it and see if she eats it. Less stressful.
Are you forcing her to drink too?
yeah i definitely don’t shove it down. she’s been chewing just fineThat works too but is more stressful.
Just don't show the cricket down her throat...you want her to bite down on it...between her teeth.
she just doesn’t use her tongue, which i understand is another part of MBD. so everything else i’m dealing with, i’m just a bit confused about her fecesGood!
i’d say so since i’ve been seeing her drink and i usually don’tIs she drinking a lot?
hm ok. will keep updatedIf she's drinking too much it might be why her movements are loose....don't really know..
let’s hope not too long. she’s very stubbornGood that she took the cricket and ate it somewhat on her own.
The tongue may take a bit of time to get back in use...muscles need calcium to work too.
