While visiting my friend last weekend, she had one egg that hadn't hatched. On Saturday evening we checked on the egg and it was pipping! When she checked on Sunday morning she gasped and put this on my hand

This teeny tiny minutes old baby opened her eyes for the first time and took her very first steps on my hand! It was one of those once in a lifetime moments! I was speechless and had to hold back the tears as it was such a special moment, and one that I wouldn't have missed for the world!

It was like that baby was waiting for me before she hatched! I am so glad that she did wait and I could see for myself just how wonderfully small and perfect a newly hatched baby chameleon is! Here's a few more pics of her:
