Petco had this little lady and her housemate as piebald and has them at $150.00 but I call bullpoop and I think they’re your standard veiled chameleon. Am I wrong?

They said their colors will come in later .

That’s what I said I offered to buy her the price of a normal veiled cham. They said she was piebald I said no she’s not even if her coloring comes in late surely they would be starting to show by now or even trying to which they’re not. She’s like 3 months old. Attached is a 3 month old piebald. She’s that size just not the markings

Did you show them that pic? She’s clearly a regular veiled
The sad thing is their marketing will probably work because a lot of pet store chams are purchased by first time owners

No, however, there were a lot of people looking at them when I mentioned it. I wouldn’t have ever noticed it but the girl I took a picture of was pretty clear she wanted out of there.

And that’s what made me notice it, then I asked the guy why they were $150.00 when they’re standard veiled’s and he said they’re piebalds their colors just haven’t come in yet, I said those are not even ballparking a piebald.

I said if you want to sell them for the price of a standard chameleon I’ll take her right now. But he stuck to his story and I told him he was full of doo doo.

Ya definitely doesn’t come in , here’s my girl when I first met her and she was around the same age. Yes the pink can change with time to black or white, but they are born with their pink translucent markings
