Spider in crickets

Hi Cham fam.

So we bought 100 crickets today from our local pet store that we've gotten them from before. Earlier I looked in saw a nasty looking spider in with them!! Me being the arachnophobic person I am, screeched at my husband about it. He killed the spider and its gone.

Now my question is this: would the spider being in with the crickets make them unusable? Like, should I not feed them to Tillman? We could not idea today it except to say that it wasn't a black or brown widow. What type of spider would be mixed in with the crickets?

A hungry one! LOL! I would not worry about it and just use them. Any cricket that was envenomated would likely be dead. Also, most venoms do their work in the circulatory system, not the digestive tract. Being that venoms are actually proteins, they would quickly be broken down if ingested anway. No worries.
