Well I took my 3 month old male veiled to the vet yesterday and she said she needs to keep him for a couple days to run some tests and see whats the matter. She was worried about the fact that he keeps his eyes closed so much. Add to that the fact that he hasnt been eating, and she decided to keep him there. She has a handful other chameleons and other assorted reptiles so I trust her.

Will keep you updated on any new developments.

thanks gesang.

She is also the dr that cared for my other guy, Littlefoot, when he had a broken leg. It was a total clean break, the bone was actually sticking out of his leg and everything, and she nursed him back to health and he is doing great now. So I have confidence in her. I just hope its soon, I dont like looking at an empty cage!

Good luck. If you dont mind me asking how did he break his leg. ive never seen that before

the geniuses working at the pet shop slid the top of the cage open and he was hanging on the inside of the top of the cage with one leg through the screen. When they slid it open, his leg just got snapped. she had splinted it and gave him antibiotics and he seems perfectly fine (he actually started shedding yesterday, my fiancee thought something was wrong with him lol). its my other cham that is having the eye problems and not eating. i havent heard back from the vet yet so ill probly give her a call this afternoon to see if she has any news for me.
