You are gravely mistaken if you think my information was only negative. You completely missed what I was saying. "I tried to save an animal..." is not justification for dooming it. Sometimes you just have to call it a day and not try. Trying causes pain and suffering. And is often expensive. @jpowell86 Am I explaining this correctly? I've had a couple of glasses of wine with my husband and I'm a very very cheap date.

it is negative. what you are saying is i doomed this animal when in reality all i did was give it a better chance than it had sitting where it was that got him that way. he was going to die a slow an painful death where he previously was no matter what so why not try and spend a little money and see if you can save the animal or at least let he go in a more peaceful environment. Idk clearly we dont see eye to eye on this but i do thank you for the information you have provided me and dont see any reason for use to continue to "justify" or discuss the poor guys life.

You did doom the animal. As soon as you had him boxed up he was doomed. He had a worse chance as soon as you added more stress to him.

You are mistaken to think he would have died a slow and painful death. Why do you think that? Death is death. In my mind you tortured him during his final hours by shipping him and then whatever nonsense you did trying to hydrate him.

Own up to your part in this very sad story.

I am sick to death of people torturing chameleons by saying they were the animal's only hope and pretending they are a hero. Maybe I could have saved it (unlikely!!!) but shipping to a novice? Not a hope in Hell!

Own up to your part in this very sorry tale. You did this animal no favor! @jpowell86 Maybe you can explain this better. I am really sick, nauseous in fact, at the amount of suffering some people think is acceptable and worse, noble. Just let them die in peace!
