spoiling my chameleon?

So i recently got my 5/6 month old female veiled chameleon Leonardo (I thought she was a he at first that is why she has a boy name and i could not think of anything else to name her) , I feed her 8 crickets a day and dust them with calcium powder and feed both her and the chameleons collard greens. in her cage i have fake plants cause its not big enough for real ones and i would kill them anyways, what plants can I go out side and get and feed her as a treat? Also what part of the plant is okay for her?

Veileds eat veggies sometimes, but not really your common plants outside will do it.

Buy some blueberries, strawberries. Those make for some good "treats".

But make sure they're cut small enough for her to eat.

Does she hand feed? I wouldn't try veggies until she knows where she gets her food from.

thanks! I do hand feed her the crickets and the veggies but if she does not take the veggies from me I put them in her cage and let let her eat it her self. most of the time she does not eat her veggies though.

Dandelions are good- the leaves and flowers are nutritious. I don't know if your cham will eat them; my Iguana and Bearded Dragon love them. Just make sure they have not been sprayed with insecticides or fertilizers!

I did read somewhere that dandelions were good so I picked some today to try it but when i was done it was her bed time. We do not spray our yard with any kind of chemicals and we do not fertilize it either and that is where i got them.

Veileds usually love hibiscus, if you live in a climate where you can keep one. They usually eat the flowers and the leaves, and they're good for them. They're a hard plant to keep thriving indoors but if you can have one on your patio or something you could pick the petals for her.
